Tuesdays and Fridays: 10:00 to 13:00
Wednesdays 10:00-16:00
Days the library is closed due to holidays: Friday April 2nd.
The library's collection has again increased with newly publishing books for borrowing and new additions to the library's Swiss Collection.
Dear Club Members,
I’m happy to announce with the easing of restrictions by the BAG, the Club can reopen for activities and events with 15 (total) people or less in the Clubhouse on Monday, 19 April.
Social distancing and mask wearing will still be required upon entering the Club and while standing and moving about. Masks can be taken off for food and drink consumption only as long as people are seated and everyone is comfortable with it. Contact tracing will still be required for everyone that enters our Club (sign-in sheet will remain at the desk). Please continue to follow the hygiene procedures set forth by the BAG for the last 15 months. Hand sanitizer will continue to be available for our Members and guests.

Due to government restrictions, we regret to inform you that the 90th Birthday Tea has been postponed. We will provide further information on an alternative date once we have more clarity. In the coming days all payments received will be refunded.

Dear Club Members
Because of Corona we can't plan safe excursions for you! I have a few ideas for you that can be done individually! Have you visited already all museums in Zurich, Berne, Winterthur, Lucerne etc.? Have you ever been to the picturesque little cities Aarau, Schaffhausen, Zofigen, Solothurn, Glarus, Willisau, Murten, Montreux etc.? Have you ever walked all the small canyons in Kanton Zurich? There are many botanical gardens (big and small) in Switzerland! There is so much to explore in the French part ! In spring meadows with spring flowers are a must-see in the region of Neuchâtel, La Chaux-de-Fonds etc.
I send out "the virus of exploring what is possible right now" to you all! We are standing up to the current Corona situation! There are still many possibilities for private excursions! Whatever you explore please report about it in our Round Robin! I am sure at the end we will have a huge "flower bouquet" collected by our club members! I am reaching out to you and asking for your help with this new club activity! WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER - in a private style.. but THE RESULT IS ALL OF OURS TO SHARE! AWCZ is about what WE DO TOGETHER - WE ARE A COMMUNITY! NOTHING CAN STOP AWCZ ACTIVITIES! we just have to do it in another way for a certain time... Stay safe, join our AWCZ team spirit and send in your excursions reports!
