Call for Excursion Ideas during Covid
Dear Club Members
Because of Corona we can't plan safe excursions for you! I have a few ideas for you that can be done individually! Have you visited already all museums in Zurich, Berne, Winterthur, Lucerne etc.? Have you ever been to the picturesque little cities Aarau, Schaffhausen, Zofigen, Solothurn, Glarus, Willisau, Murten, Montreux etc.? Have you ever walked all the small canyons in Kanton Zurich? There are many botanical gardens (big and small) in Switzerland! There is so much to explore in the French part ! In spring meadows with spring flowers are a must-see in the region of Neuchâtel, La Chaux-de-Fonds etc.
I send out "the virus of exploring what is possible right now" to you all! We are standing up to the current Corona situation! There are still many possibilities for private excursions! Whatever you explore please report about it in our Round Robin! I am sure at the end we will have a huge "flower bouquet" collected by our club members! I am reaching out to you and asking for your help with this new club activity! WE CAN DO IT TOGETHER - in a private style.. but THE RESULT IS ALL OF OURS TO SHARE! AWCZ is about what WE DO TOGETHER - WE ARE A COMMUNITY! NOTHING CAN STOP AWCZ ACTIVITIES! we just have to do it in another way for a certain time... Stay safe, join our AWCZ team spirit and send in your excursions reports!
